Template presentable

Well, I managed to get something resembling a presentable blog layout together. As it's 9:48 and I'm wrapping up a very long (48 hr) week at work, I'm going to call it quits and head home. Saturdays are pretty laid back here and they give me a little time to do some professional development. I call CSS editing a professional endeavor (and I didn't take a lunch break today) so I'm not exactly cheating.

We have friends at home who are visiting from the old town we used to live in and DH is having fun showing them Guitar Hero World Tour on the Wii. I'm sure they've got a nice warm fire going so I'm looking forward to getting home and spending time with company.

Messing With the Template

I'm going to be playing with the template of my blog by hand for a few days. I've got a really basic banner up that I created using Photoshop but expect more to get added to it as time goes on. Once I get the overall layout of my page done, then I'll start posting more often! Thanks for checking in and please pardon the dust!

First Post

I'm historically terrible about updating a blog. I've tried several over the years and my postings are generally sporadic, at best. But I figured I'd give this a shot...again, after being motivated by some blogs from some friends from high school. So, join us on this journey and we'll see where it leads us.
